Auxiliary Emergency Radio Organization
supports the public becoming
effective emergency communicators by providing training, licensing,
drill and practice, and appropriate equipment.
It also supports allied organizations with like goals and plans for and encourges
improved disaster preparedness in the US.

As of 2/4/2006, IRS provisional approval of AERO as a
Section 501(c)(3) charity has been received.
Organizational meeting
Our May 5th meeting was inconclusive of future organizational forms for AERO,
so for now we are going to stick with the former one. Expect
annual meetings on this topic.
